Feminist Assembly Radio: Mo and Tineke

Photo: Tineke E. Jansen

On 17 September Mo Salomon and Tineke E. Jansen returned to the Radboud University Nijmegen; a place that was significant for their meeting and activism in the 1980s; the place where the 1983 Winter University Women's Studies became a catalyst for Black women activism.

In a moving conversation, Mo & Tineke, followed a trail of songs that stirred them, and remain to activate them to this day, taking us from past to the present, talking about resistance, vulnerability and connection. The conversation was organised in collaboration with Tabea Nixdorff and Setareh Noorani, the team behind Feminist Design Strategies (Het Nieuwe Instituut). The conversation is available in its entirety to listen on our player.
